After working in editing, publishing, and overseas copyright negotiations for books and magazines in the publishing industry, Motoko helped launch the Japanese edition of WIRED in 1994 and served as its business manager. She then established her own business and founded the online media company Mediagene Inc. (formerly INFOBAHN Group Inc.) in 1998 and founded the digital agency INFOBAHN Inc. in 2015 through an incorporation-type company split. She has been a facilitator at the Keizai Doyukai's (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) social gatherings since 2022. In 2023, she co-founded TNL Mediagene and became COO and president. In 2024, she was appointed as an external director of NOK Corporation.

Hiroto helped launch the Japanese edition of WIRED in 1994, where he served as editor-in-chief. He co-founded INFOBAHN Inc. (now Mediagene Inc.) in 1998 to help businesses with their digital communication strategies. He has launched a variety of printed and online media outlets, including GIZMODO JAPAN, and has supported digital marketing activities for companies both in and outside of Japan. Hiroto is considered a leader in content marketing and owned media. Since 2017, he has served as an official Japan partner for TOA, an international tech conference held in Berlin, and co-hosts programs in Germany and Tokyo every year. Currently, he produces programs and fieldwork projects to co-create innovations focused on circular economy and biodiversity to bring businesses and local governments together. One of his main works is “After GAFA” (KADOKAWA), which has been translated and published in Korea and China. He has also served as the editorial supervisor and commentator for translated publications such as “Free,” “Share,” and “Public” (NHK Publishing), among many other works.

After working as a certified public accountant at an auditing firm, Hiroyuki became the director of finance at an operating company in 2015. After the company held an IPO, he joined INFOBAHN Group Inc. (now Mediagene Inc.) in 2017, became Director and CFO, and has headed the company's business management since 2018. Hiroyuki has served as a director of Group company Mediagene since 2019.
