TNL Mediagene Japan Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that Aya Miyake has been appointed as a director on October 1, 2024.
Mr. Miyake has gained extensive experience in areas such as capital policy, listing support, and IR at Japanese stock exchanges and investment-related companies, and has supported the growth of companies. He also has a wealth of knowledge in the fund business, has led the launch of multiple funds, and has a track record of promoting business operations and growth strategies. With this appointment, TNL Mediagene Japan will further strengthen its presence in the capital market, aiming for sustainable growth and increasing corporate value.
Additionally, due to this personnel change, the gender balance among our executives is now 50:50 (3 women, 3 men). We will continue to realize a diverse and balanced management structure, and by working together with leaders from various backgrounds, we will generate innovation and contribute to the development of the industry as a whole.

Aya Miyake
Engaged in corporate value evaluation, capital policy planning, and listing support for startup companies at Japan ASEAN Investment (currently Japan Asia Investment). She moved to JASDAQ Securities Exchange (currently Japan Exchange Group) as the first female general manager and has been in charge of listing support for startups aiming to grow through IPOs in Japan for many years. In 2012, she became the first female executive officer of a Japanese stock exchange at the Osaka Securities Exchange (currently Japan Exchange Group).

In the late 1970s, when I was an elementary school student, I lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. When he returned to Japan, he witnessed the economic disparity between Southeast Asia and Japan at the time, and chose development economics at university. After graduating, he joined a company that directly invests Japanese funds in Southeast Asia. In my first year at the company I joined, investment in Japan became the main business, and I ended up being involved in supporting the growth of Japanese venture companies for many years. I am very honored and happy to be able to join TNL Mediagene Japan and aim for growth together in Asia.
