MESSAGE FROM MANAGEMENT
Since our founding during the early days of the internet, we have continued to weave stories, explore new forms of media, and share them with the public in the midst of the turbulent changes brought about by the digital revolution.
As a media company, we believe our mission is to depict various thoughts and messages as stories and share them with society. We want to promote diversity in Japan and create an inclusive society, consider the environment we are leaving for the future, and support industries developing quality content. We are also transforming society through media and empowering innovators who create products and services. We want to help steer society in the best direction possible as we continue to grow our business.
At the same time, we want to stay authentic to society and our partners, readers, and employees so that we can become an organization that is trusted, essential, and transparent.
The times are everchanging and the future is hard to predict, but I believe embracing change instead of fearing it will lead to gaining a new outlook.

Initially, our Group focused on supporting business communication in the digital field and on our media business. Most people probably know us as a media management company, but we launched our corporation-focused business right after being founded, so before we had a media business.
Today, we help co-create value and work together with stakeholders in a variety of areas, helping corporate entities as well as governments and municipalities with innovation and digital transformation, regional development, helping domestic companies expand their business to Europe, creating a circular society, and e-commerce storytelling.
One thing that has stayed the same since our founding is the idea of discovering new value together with our customers and turning that into a story. We believe in the power of telling stories. We don’t prepare scripts or try to match our customers with existing services but instead work as partners to co-create stories that customers can share in their own words.
And we believe that good storytelling is the cornerstone of a good society. Which is why we always keep the future in mind and try to learn from the past. We exchange thoughts on the transition of technology, systems, and social thinking with our extensive network of professionals in Japan and abroad and work based on that unique worldview.
The future cannot exist without storytelling. Discovering the future that lies ahead for our customers, putting it into words, and giving it shape are the strengths we have built up over the years. I suppose you would call this the act of designing. Still, we prefer referring to ourselves as editors, because we are directly linked to the act of storytelling itself.
We learn and grow by working together with our customers, and we want to continue to use the stories we have gathered from these experiences to help build an even better society.
